Does a king kneel before his subjects?

Some Nigerian men have slammed a man for getting down on his knees to propose to his woman. 

Commenting on the proposal photo, some called him a ‘mumu man and finished man’, while others questioned why a man would kneel to ask a woman to marry him. 

“Does a king kneel before his subjects?” one Kingsley Chimere wrote. 

“None of my siblings have knelt to propose to a woman,” Dennis Essien.

“She go still give you another man pikin,” another said.
